Tamarisk Hotel - Watersports
The calm mornings here at The Tamarisk are ideal for practicing your skills or taking some expert water sports tuition from our instructors. With the afternoon comes a welcome breeze that makes for great windsurfing and sailing out in the bay. Catch the wind out on the water and venture further out to Rabbit Island across the bay for exploring and taking in the stunning coastline scenery.
The Tamarisk Water Sports Centre with extensive facilities offers a range of water sports activities. Our experienced English-speaking instructors teach windsurfing, sailing, waterskiing, wakeboarding and kayaking. Classes are available for kids and adults on a one-to-one or group basis and are suitable for all levels. You can choose to do as much or as little as you like with the option of a Tamarisk package or by hiring water sports equipment by the hour.
We are open from 8 am for water skiing and wakeboarding while all other activities start at 10 am and continue throughout the day 7 days a week.
Every morning from 10.00- 12.00, our water sports based Kids Club offers activities for children (link to activities) aged 6 -14 yrs. The club is all about meeting other kids and having fun together while learning new tricks on the water.

Testimonials
“We had an amazing holiday, kids sailed and windsurfed all day, weather was perfect and the Tamarisk Hotel is the ideal location to completely relax and wind down and it has a great sense of community.”D.R, United Kingdom
“We booked in to the Tamarisk Murat Otel based on the positive Trip Advisor reviews and had one of the best holidays ever. This is the first year that the owners, Sevilay and Faik Muslu, are going alone from tour companies (previously Crystal Active and Simply Turkey) and will certainly be a success.”Jul 30, 2009
“The hotel is arranged around a long well tended garden with plenty of shade from palms and pine trees. The rooms and suites are divided into small 2 story blocks freshly painted white and blue, each with its own private terrace or balcony.”Jun 30, 2009
“We had not been to Turkey before so didn't really know what to expect. We were delighted with what we found. It is probably the prettiest hotel I have ever stayed in with whitewashed walls and blue painted shutters covered with bourgenvillia, hibiscus and other colourful and scented flowers.”Jun 22, 2009
“My family and I have just returned from our second excellent holiday at the Tamarisk, the first being through Crystal Active but this time independent. We arranged our own flights to Bodrum airport from Gatwick with EasyJet. The Tamarisk organised our airport transfer (approx. 30 min in luxury minivan) and we stayed for two weeks at the Tamarisk on a half-board basis”Aug 31, 2009
